Mark Kulekci is a hospitality executive with more than 40 years of experience across hotel operations, asset management, acquisitions, and portfolio leadership. His career spans full-service and select-service hotels across the United States and internationally, with senior leadership roles involving major global brands including Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Wyndham, Radisson, and Autograph Collection. Mark operates with a strict owner-operator philosophy, running hotels as long-term investments rather than short-term businesses.
His focus is on disciplined execution, cost control, revenue optimization, and the use of technology and automation to maximize NOI and long-term asset value.
He holds a Master of Science in Hotel & Food Service Management from Florida International University (FIU) and has completed executive education at Cornell University and Harvard University.The name Optimus reflects the firm’s core philosophy: operating at the optimal point of efficiency and profitability in hospitality.
